2 US senators, Richard Blumenthal (D) and Josh Hawley (R), have queried AT&T about a massive hacking incident in April, during which 109 million customer accounts were illegally downloaded. AT&T revealed that its call logs were copied from a Snowflake cloud platform, containing six months' data from 2022 for nearly all customers. The senators are requesting answers by July 29th, with AT&T confirming it will respond.
