50+ uncontacted Mashco Piro tribe members have been sighted in Peru's Amazon rainforest, near logging concessions. The tribe's increasing visibility may be due to their search for food as they move away from logging operations. Survival International, which released images of the tribe, is calling for the revocation of logging licenses in the area and the recognition of the Mashco Piro's territory.
