Belgian Jasper Philipsen won the 16th stage of the Tour de France in Nimes, while Irish cyclist Sam Bennett finished fourth. Philipsen also leads the sprint rankings with 344 points, ahead of Biniam Girmay's 376. Tadej Pogacar maintains a 3 minute and 9-second lead over defending champion Jonas Vingegaard in the overall standings. The race continues with mountainous stages leading to the finish in Nice on Sunday.
