A clean power deal between Singapore and Laos for hydropower import faces delays due to disagreements over energy transmission, according to two regional government sources. The Lao PDR-Thailand-Malaysia-Singapore (LTMS) Project aims to supply up to 100MW of electricity, but transmission-related issues and disagreements over power purchase quantities have stalled the deal. A final agreement seems unlikely by December, when transmission agreements must be signed.
