The report aims to elevate India to a global manufacturing leader, focusing on opportunities and challenges within the electronics sector. India's electronics sector accounts for nearly 80% of its exports via Global Value Chains (GVCs), which currently account for 70% of international trade. The report suggests prioritizing sectors such as electronics, semiconductors, automobiles, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals to enhance India's GVC involvement.
