Nigerian Navy arrests eight stowaways, rescues eight female trafficking victims and saves two drowning fishermen. The navy units across Nigeria's maritime domain rescued and apprehended these individuals between 9-13 July 2024. A sea robbery attempt was also foiled during this period. The rescue of the female victims revealed that they were being trafficked by an unidentified agent.
