Labour government pledging to introduce 'Martyn's Law', has been committed to in the King's Speech. The 'Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Bill' will enact 'Martyn's Law', requiring large venues to put in place anti-terrorism measures, improve security against terror threats, and have a counter-terrorism plan. This follows the 2017 Manchester Arena attack that killed 22 people, including Martyn Hett, whose family and campaigners have pushed for the legislation.
