Kenmare Resources, a titanium and zircon miner in Mozambique, reported a 7% increase in Q2 heavy mineral concentrate production to 342,600t, driven by higher ore volumes and recoveries. Ilmenite production rose by 12% to 238,600t, and zircon production increased by 12% to 13,000t. Despite a decline in shipments due to poor weather and operational issues, Kenmare remains on track to meet its 2024 guidance and is nearing the completion of a search for a new managing director.
