Kano State Higher Education Commissioner, Yusuf Kofar-Mata, lost his daughter, Maimuna, elder sister, Khadija, and brother's wife, Juwairiyya, in a fire outbreak at his residence in Kofar-Mata. The fire occurred while the family was asleep, causing significant damage and loss of valuable items. The cause and severity of damage are yet to be determined. The funeral prayers for the deceased were held on Wednesday.
