Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini announced a 10% horizontal reservation for Agniveers in state government jobs, including positions such as constable, mining guard, forest guard, jail warden, and special police officer. This decision comes in response to the Agnipath scheme, where Agniveers serve in the Indian Army for four years. The state government will also provide a three-year age relaxation for Agniveers in Group C and D posts, with a five-year age relaxation for the first batch.
