Galway-based Loci Orthopaedics, developing technologies for unmet clinical needs in orthopaedics extremities, raises €12.8m in funding led by Johnson & Johnson Innovation, European Innovation Council Fund and venture capital fund Seroba. The company focuses on thumb base joint arthritis with its InDx implant system and plans to use the funds for clinical data development, regulatory approval applications in the US and EU, and accelerating commercialization efforts.
