Tripura's Ganda Twisa district is recovering after ethnic violence. The government has provided Rs 1.60 crore as compensation to 166 affected families. The violence occurred after a tribal college student's death, leading to large-scale arson, attacks, and looting. The government has allocated Rs 5 lakh to families of deceased, Rs 2 lakh for those with severe injuries, and Rs 1 lakh for minor injuries.
