Delhi Metro plans to expand its e-auto fleet to >1,100 for enhanced last-mile connectivity, with 40 stations equipped for charging and parking.
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) plans to increase its electric three-wheeler (e-auto) fleet to over 1,100 from 1,183 currently, adding more than 1,100 e-autos to improve last-mile connectivity for commuters. Around 40 DMRC stations are equipped with charging points and dedicated parking spaces for the e-autos. Another 1,116 e-autos are expected to be registered by the end of August.
