Boston police officer hit by car in Dorchester while responding to gun report, sustains non-life-threatening injuries.

A Boston police officer was hit by a car in Dorchester while responding to a report of people with guns in the area on Tuesday night. The officer, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries, was taken to a local hospital. Two people were arrested at the scene and three guns were recovered. The officer's condition is expected to be okay.
