Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy was rescued by the U.S. Coast Guard after his boat lost power off Nantucket, Massachusetts. Portnoy, who refers to himself as "Captain Dave", unhooked his boat from its buoy and found it had no power or radio, leaving him adrift with no way to call for help. He fired a flare gun as a distress signal and was eventually rescued by the Coast Guard.
