The Asian Development Bank (ADB) approved $240.5m in loans to fund rooftop solar systems in India, targeting 50% non-fossil fuel energy capacity by 2030. The State Bank of India and National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development will provide loans to developers and users. The initiative, funded by the Clean Technology Fund, will improve power distribution system efficiency and support India's transition to renewable energy.
