2-year update on child sexual exploitation (CSE) in Telford shows progress, with 38 out of 47 recommendations fully implemented. Chair of the Independent Inquiry, Tom Crowther KC, praised Telford Council for recognising past mistakes and making "successful" changes since the 2022 report, which found over 1,000 children were victims of abuse over 30 years. The council continues to work closely with survivors of abuse and increase detection rates for exploited child victims.
