29-year-old swimmer drowns in private Norfolk lake; body recovered on Sunday evening. Norfolk Police and Fire & Rescue responded to the incident after three witnesses reported the man went underwater and did not resurface. His body was found around 7:15 p.m., and authorities are still investigating. Mutual aid was provided by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, Battle Creek Fire & Rescue, and Hadar Fire & Rescue.
