37-year-old Olivier Giroud, France's all-time top goalscorer with 57 goals in 137 appearances, announced his retirement from international football. Giroud, who won the World Cup in 2018, thanked coach Didier Deschamps and expressed gratitude for his time with the team. He debuted in 2011 and scored his final goal for France in March 2024. Giroud will join Major League Soccer outfit Los Angeles FC next season.
