35-year-old Mark Fox from Billingham has been jailed for 11 years and 8 months after attacking three Cleveland Police officers with a knife, leaving them hospitalized with puncture and slash wounds. Fox was found guilty of two counts of wounding with intent and pleaded guilty to inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent during a trial at Teesside Crown Court. The officers involved were recognized at the national Police Bravery Awards 2024.
