72-year-old Joseph Noel died after his car crashed into a pond in St. Landry Parish.

72-year-old Breaux Bridge man, Joseph Noel, died after his car traveled off the road and into a pond near Grand Lake Drive in St. Landry Parish. The crash, which occurred early Sunday morning, remains under investigation. The St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office assisted in the recovery of the submerged vehicle, and standard toxicology samples were collected and submitted for analysis.
