A fatal head-on collision occurred on Interstate 70 in Jackson County, Missouri, on Sunday evening, resulting in the deaths of Connor J. Souther, 20, and Garret D. Brumley, 56. Souther's Hyundai Elantra veered off the road, crossed the median, and collided with Brumley's Chevy Traverse, killing both drivers. Five passengers from the Chevy were injured and taken to a medical center; all were properly restrained.
