46-year-old BRS leader K Kavitha, lodged in Tihar jail due to a money laundering case, was taken to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital in Delhi after developing gynaecological issues and a high fever. She was later returned to prison after undergoing tests at the hospital. Kavitha was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on March 15 and later detained by the Central Bureau of Investigation on April 11.
