16-year-old boy killed in hit-and-run accident in Cobb County, Georgia on July 13th. Teenager was walking along State Route 360 (Powder Springs Street SW) at Cunningham Road intersection when struck by a red Hyundai Santa Fe. Driver fled the scene; Cobb County Police Department's Special Operations S.T.E.P. Unit is leading the investigation. Authorities ask for anyone with information to contact them at 770-499-3987. Victim's identity has not been released.
