Finnegan becomes the 39th first-time All-Star and has a 2.45 ERA, 25 saves, and a 2-4 record in 41 appearances this year. Helsley leads the majors with 32 saves but is unlikely to play in Tuesday's game in Texas, so Finnegan will take his place.
