A new report from the National Center for Health Statistics reveals a gap between how much support US teens say they get and how much support their parents think they are getting. Only 28% of adolescents between 12 and 17 years old stated they always get the social and emotional support they need, while parents were nearly three times more likely to think they did. The study highlights the need for better communication and understanding of teenagers' mental health struggles.
