Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy confirms the government is preparing for the FAME III scheme, aimed at promoting electric mobility. The FAME III scheme will not be part of the upcoming Union Budget and is expected to launch in the coming months. The Heavy Industries Ministry announced earlier this year that subsidies under the second phase of the FAME scheme would be available for electric vehicles sold until March 2024.
