Union Home Minister Amit Shah will launch India's first national toll-free anti-narcotics helpline, MANAS (1933), on July 18 during a meeting of the Narco-Coordination Centre (NCORD).
The helpline aims to establish a user-friendly platform for citizens to report drug-related matters 24/7.
The helpline will be inaugurated along with an email service, and Shah will also launch the NCB zonal office in Srinagar.
The meeting will involve representatives from all central and state law enforcement agencies involved in combating the narcotics menace, with the ultimate goal of achieving a drug-free India by 2047.
