17th-place tie at Amundi Evian Championship is Aditi Ashok's best Major finish; Japan's Ayaka Furue wins first major championship.
Aditi Ashok tied for 17th place at the Amundi Evian Championship, securing her best finish in a Major tournament. Her previous best was a T-22 at the 2018 Women's Open. In the same event, Japan's Ayaka Furue won her first major championship by a single shot, holing a 15-foot eagle putt on the final green at Evian Resort Golf Club. Both Indian players, Aditi Ashok and Diksha Dagar, will compete in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
