3-story shophouse gas explosion in Vĩnh Yên city, Vietnam, injures 7, including 2 South Koreans; investigation ongoing.

On July 16th, a gas explosion at a 3-storey shophouse under renovation in Vĩnh Yên city, Vĩnh Phúc province, Vietnam, injured seven people, including two South Koreans. The cause of the explosion remains under investigation, as gas cylinders are considered unlikely to cause such an incident. The injured were treated at Vĩnh Phúc Provincial General Hospital and Le Huu Trac National Burn Hospital in Hanoi.
