Starting July 20, 2024, Chinese citizens can visit Azerbaijan three times in a year without a visa, as per the "Joint Declaration on the establishment of strategic partnership between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the People's Republic of China". They can stay for up to 30 days per visit. Those staying more than 15 days must register at their place of residence according to the Migration Code. Visa is required for more than three visits or stays longer than 30 days.
