Sri Lanka's cabinet has approved a 10-year national policy on indigenous medicine (2024-2034) to address current issues in supplying services and offer a quality, strong medical system for future generations. The policy, proposed by President Ranil Wickremesinghe, has been prepared with expert consultation and aims to protect the indigenous medical system within the national health policy framework.
