Singapore's oil spill cleanup is progressing faster than expected, with Minister for Sustainability and the Environment Grace Fu announcing the clean-up is now in its final phase. The oil spill, caused by a collision between a dredging boat and a bunker vessel on June 14, affected several Singapore beaches, including Sentosa, East Coast Park, and Labrador Nature Reserve. The initial 3-month phase is expected to be completed within weeks.
