Uddhav Thackeray met with Shankaracharya of Joshimath, who condemned betrayal and expressed support for Thackeray's return as Maharashtra CM.

Uddhav Thackeray met with Shankaracharya of Joshimath, Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati, at his residence, Matoshree. The Shankaracharya condemned the betrayal faced by Thackeray and expressed solidarity, stating that people's pain won't subside till Thackeray returns as Maharashtra CM. The Shankaracharya also opposed the replica of Kedarnath temple in Delhi and asserted that betrayal is the biggest sin according to Hinduism.
