Cayuga County Sheriff Brian Schenck announced the arrest of Kevin VanNorstrand, a registered sex offender living in Conquest, for engaging in sexually explicit conversations with undercover officers posing as minors in Florida. VanNorstrand was charged with two counts of attempted dissemination of indecent material to a minor, a class E felony. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office in Florida initially contacted the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office about the situation.
