QAA review finds no evidence of UK foundation courses lowering entry standards for international students.

A recent review by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) on behalf of Universities UK found no evidence of UK universities lowering entry standards for international students applying to foundation courses. The review assessed programs at 34 participating universities and discovered that entry requirements for international students were on par with those for UK students on similar courses. However, the review did note that international students had more opportunities to resit exams compared to A-level students in the UK.
