Ouwehands Zoo announces birth of a second giant panda cub on July 12.
The Ouwehands Zoo in the Netherlands has announced the birth of a second giant panda cub, born to mother Wu Wen on July 12. This is the second cub born at the zoo in four years, following the birth of Fan Xing in 2020. Mother and cub are doing well in the maternity den, and the zoo is proud to contribute to the conservation of this endangered species in a natural way.
