Offshore wind developer Vineyard Wind reported a damaged turbine in its development area, with no personnel or third parties nearby. GE, the manufacturer and installer, will analyze the incident's root cause. The company will continue to work with stakeholders to ensure worker, mariner, and environmental safety. The Vineyard Wind 1 project, the US's first large-scale offshore wind farm, has completed 19 turbines, with 10 operational.
