Nike has sued custom shoe designer Dominic Ciambrone, aka Shoe Surgeon, accusing him of using Nike trademarks without permission, counterfeiting, and unauthorized wholesale of their brand. Nike claims Shoe Surgeon's work misleads consumers into thinking his designs are legitimate Nike collaborations. The lawsuit also targets Shoe Surgeon Academy, a physical operation teaching custom Nike-branded shoe creation.
