Nigeria's NNPCL CEO expects the country to become a net petroleum exporter by Dec 2024 due to completed refineries.

Nigeria's Group Executive Officer of NNPCL, Mele Kyari, expects Nigeria to become a net exporter of petroleum by December 2024, following the completion of ongoing refineries projects. The Port Harcourt Refinery is scheduled to start production in August, followed by Warri Refinery in October and Kaduna Refinery in December. The completed refineries, alongside others in operation including the Dangote refinery, are expected to contribute to Nigeria's net export status.
