4 Nigerian individuals arraigned in Enugu court for vandalizing armored cables belonging to Enugu State Rural Electrification Agency in July 2024.
Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) arraigned four individuals, Moses Timothy, Joefrey Lawrence, Augustine Abila, and Caleb Kamiru, in Enugu Federal High Court for vandalising underground armoured cables belonging to the Enugu State Rural Electrification Agency. The accused were charged on two counts of conspiracy and vandalism, allegedly committing the crime on July 1, 2024. NSCDC highlighted the significant negative impact of vandalism on water and electricity delivery in the state.
