Indian telcos' ARPU forecast to reach Rs 225+ in FY26 due to tariff hikes and data consumption growth.

Crisil forecasts that Indian telcos' average revenue per user (ARPU) will increase to a decadal high of over Rs 225 in FY26, as a result of tariff hikes by major private operators and growing data consumption. The credit profiles of telcos are expected to improve due to higher profitability and lower capital expenditure. The ARPU is expected to rise 25% in FY26 compared to FY24.
