GM declines to reconfirm 2025 EV production target, focusing on demand-driven production.

General Motors has declined to reiterate its 2025 forecast to have 1 million units of electric vehicle production capacity in North America. CEO Mary Barra stated that the automaker would not build 1 million EVs next year just because the market's not developing, but it will get there, guided by customer demand. GM will be flexible and build to demand instead of following a specific production target.
