Kevin George, one of two finalists for East Baton Rouge Parish Schools' Superintendent position, withdrew his candidacy, leaving Andrea Zayas as the only finalist. George, Director of University Laboratory School, cited personal reasons and his love for his current position as his reason for withdrawing. The search for a new superintendent began after Sito Narcisse's departure in January.
