1 dead after semi-truck falls off I-80, overturns in south suburbs: A semi-truck driver died after their vehicle went off Interstate 80 and overturned early Tuesday near Kedzie Avenue in Hazel Crest. The crash occurred around 4:40 a.m., with the semi-truck leaving the roadway, going down an embankment, and overturning onto Kedzie Avenue. One eastbound lane of I-80 near Kedzie remains closed, along with traffic on Kedzie under I-80.
