A deadly house fire in Le Sueur County, Southern Minnesota claimed the lives of Roman Jindra, 76, and Betty Jindra, 73. The fire was reported around 1 AM at a rural home near Montgomery, with the victims trapped inside. First responders were initially unable to enter the home due to heavy smoke and heat, and life-saving efforts were unsuccessful upon their removal. The State Fire Marshal has been called to investigate the cause of the fire.
