67-year-old Philip Brooks diagnosed with GBM died; daughter and mother plan to cycle London-Paris for brain tumour research fundraising.

67-year-old Philip Brooks from Stevenage, diagnosed with the most common malignant brain tumour (GBM) in adults, died three months later after exhibiting signs of "talking nonsense". GBM has an average survival time of 12-18 months; 3,200 people are diagnosed with it each year. His daughter, Nikky Vass, and mother, Vanessa, are now planning to cycle from London to Paris in September to raise funds for brain tumour research.
