Toddler murderer Brendan Pallant has been sentenced to 32 years in prison for the bashing murder of two-year-old Jaidyn Gomes-Sebastiao in 2019. Pallant, who initially blamed the boy's mother, was found guilty after a month-long trial in Victoria's Supreme Court. He had moved in with Jaidyn's mother, Stacie Saggers, just 26 days before the child's death. Pallant was babysitting the toddler and his brother when he fatally assaulted Jaidyn with a metal table in a short burst of anger.
