17-year-old Elsie Johnson from Mallee was named the 2024 Young Rural Ambassador state winner, representing the Murray Bridge Show and Southern Shows Association. She received the title at the Youth Presentation Dinner, with a goal to encourage more young people into the show movement. With her parents being keen sheep and wool exhibitors, it's in her blood to show and bake at SA's country shows.
