A woman was fatally shot and found dead in a driveway on Griffin Mountain Road in Rockdale County. Deputies responded to the scene after receiving a report of a woman screaming and gunfire around 1:30 p.m. A suspect is in custody at the Rockdale County Sheriff's Office Jail and the victim's identity is being withheld until family is notified. The investigation is ongoing.
